Lo-fi slowcore giants Duster returned to Earth in 2019 for a string of shows in support of their recent Numero Group re-issue of their first two out-of-print albums. We're huge fans of the band and jumped at the opportunity to commemorate their Chicago concert with this obtuse and ephemeral mult-functional poster. Merging sensiblities of obscure electronic bleeps, and hand strummed textures, we hope this strange indexing (the poster features the song titles of their entire discography buried in the mix) honors the quiet legacy of Duster's music. Their music was formative for Nick and hints of that inspiration can be found in Sonnenzimmer's musical output to this day. In the spirit of DIY ethos, the poster features a custom typeface developed for the poster, equal parts rave flyer and deconstructed minimalism. It humbly sits in good company along side Wim Crouwel's elegently strange typeface for a Claus Oldenberg's 1970 exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum, and American Typewriter, of course
