Michael Cina is a Minneapolis artist and amazing communication designer. He is a heavy hitter in our eyes, trail blazing over a decade of great work. Ghostly International is a cutting edge music label that has been on our radar since we got hooked on electronic music back in the days. When they approached us to do a poster for the label's showcase at the Bumbershoot Music Festival in Seattle in collaboration with their house mega man Cina, we knew this was gonna be an organic process. Over the course of a week, this poster came together in real time through some pretty spectacular file ping-pong. Each day we printed a layer, improvising the composition as we went.
