Left Under Water & Right Under Water were created as part of our 2020 exhibition, Inchworm. The works in the exhibition explored a simple notion; when does the surface stop and the image begin? These adjacent works straddle the line between image and matrix, leaving only the viewer in the uncanny valley between them. Created with bright white resin, these rigid images are imbued with a unique graphic and material quality equally proclaiming their imagehood and objecthood.
